Changed the name of my blog because I like things that rhyme.

Street Signs

Introducing an outfit that is not entirely thrifted!
I follow a lot of style blogs around the internet, and I think it's really interesting to see each person's preferences as far as price goes. I follow a lot of strictly vintage blogs, and many blogs of ladies who buy Prada. They're both equally enjoyable, and I think it's really neat to see the diversity!

I'm sure the rest of you college students are as elated as I am about the upcoming end of school! I've got 2 exams and 1 critique left, and then I'm outta here!
I can't wait to go home and sew some dresses.

Stripes and Stripes

Every weekend I try and pack one comfy outfit that I can lay around in, and this was this weekend's! I originally had planned to wear a starry shirt over this one. I would have looked so patriotic!
I took these pictures in my boyfriend's apartment, which used to be a mill.
This picture cracks me up.

New Banner

Just thought I'd show you guys the full drawing I did for my new banner!
I've been experimenting with the blog layout. Maybe I'll actually keep this one for more than a week?

All That Spring

Today we went thrifting. Like I do every weekend. I'm really lucky that I can indulge my addiction to clothes that old people wore in an inexpensive way! I got some really neat things that are way too big for me, so I won't be wearing them until I can get home to my sewing machine.

Someone inside the building must've gotten annoyed with me, because they shut those blinds back there about halfway through this whole thing, haha. How about that tipped collar, though?

The Light's Not On My Side

My face is unintentionally stupid in these. Probably because I tried the self timer, and I was staring at the blinking light like "uhhh did it take, or...?" It also seemed to wash everything out, but maybe that was just the light I was in. I eventually had to give up, because it started to rain!
I really love the color of this skirt.

March Doodles

Doodley doodles from the month of March!

The weather's been great lately! I'm trying not to get used to it, since South Carolina summers are notoriously hard to handle. Happy Spring!

Blue and Gold

Dressed casual in some blue today. I love button ups, and I love this cardigan! We ate in the park again because the weather is so nice. I know it will be hot again soon, and I am dreading it.

Working It

I am actually not-so-secretly camera shy. Whenever I make my boyfriend shoot my outfits, I always find a secluded area where no one can see me pose.
I'm also really nervous when anyone other than my boyfriend or mother photographs me. Are any of you guys like that?
Anyway, I love this shirt. It was one of those Goodwill finds that I jumped on because it was so unique!
It looks kindof cowgirl-hawaiian to me, if there is such a thing.
My black tights started to rip and I said, TA HECK WITH IT, and embraced the ripped-tights trend. Is that a trend?

Raining Cats and Stars

I heard drawing on moleskine is the best kind of drawing, and I just happened to have a couple moleskines lying in a drawer! So I recovered them with cardstock and this is what they look like.
Cats galore.

Back In Time

You guys, I am always fond of silly pictures of my face.
When I found this XXL retro-print shirt in Sid&Nancy, it was love at first sight. Normally I shy away from bright bold colors, but look at this thing! There is not another girl in the world with a shirt like this.
I was also pleased to discover it is long enough to wear as a dress, and the fabric is very light and perfect for spring.
These clogs are unfortunately falling apart from the inside out. Which is why I am glad I only spent $4 on them.
