Why yes, I do love this outfit, thanks for asking! I just kept layering things until I looked like a swooshy colorblocked dream.

Here's some things happening lately:
1. I've been watching tons of Buffy.
2. I have a gigantic ulcer on the inside of my lip.
3. It's tights weather, but most of my tights are at home!
4. Group projects suck.

Dress: Shop Ruche

School portrait time, amiright? ^^

  1. 1. Buffy is awesome and you SHOULD watch tons of it. All the time. FOREVER.

    2. HATE those. Hate. They always show up at ridiculously inconvenient times, too... although I can't really think of a CONVENIENT time for a lip ulcer...

    3. One day I will understand tights. They just confuse me and aren't terribly comfortable. ONE DAY, THOUGH. Mostly because I want to wear teal tights.

    4. They really, really, really, really, really, really really do. Then you're out in the work world and discover that it gets even worse, because there are even fewer people calling the lazybones out on how little they do, and you're expected to pick up the slack even more because you're getting PAID to do it now. On the upside, though, you ARE getting paid to do it.

    Aaaaaand I'll add a 5:

    5. It IS cute wispy colorblockness. I like the skirt!

  2. Love the layers!

I just noticed that you look like Idina Menzel.

  3. I like the color story, and am sorry the group project is being sucky.

  4. I'm really loving your hair + fall foliage + rose-colored skirt. And the spiky bracelet. ANd the cool interlocking necklace. The ulcer sounds like a bummer, though, and I too HATE group projects. Ugh, worst

  5. You made that necklace?! You're so talented, it's very pretty! And I love this look, you layered over that pink dress wonderfully!

  6. love how grunge you look in the sitting down pic. but also love how somehow just w/ the scarf it gives the whole look a bit more of a preppy feel. great layers skills here & love the colors.
